Alder

We had our wedding reception at Alder and had the best time. The staff were so helpful on the night. A lovely relaxed atmosphere with plenty of space for people to dance and quieter corners for chatting. They were very accommodating with our requests and gave us some tips for using the space effectively. It was exactly what we wanted. Thanks for a great night! Reasonably priced drinks too

Amazing venue. We had our wedding party here and we could not recommend it enough. The staff were brilliant throughout - easy to make the arrangements with, very flexible, really laid back and accommodated every request we had. On the night itself the staff were absolutely on it, and bent over backwards to help in all sorts of extra ways we didn't even expect. The atmosphere was superb, huge outdoor space to work with, and maybe most importantly - top quality drinks on offer at very affordable prices, which put everyone in a great mood from the off. The party was an absolute riot. Would recommend to anyone. Thanks all at Alder.

Great bar in the Kelham Island area. The beer garden is huge and gets plenty of sun, when it's not raining! They're dog friendly (as most places in Kelham) and they have a great selection of beers/ales/IPAs which are always being rotated. The staff are great and always friendly. They do a quiz every week (on a Weds, I think) which is always popular. You need to book a table if you want to take part because it is so popular. The only downside is the temperature inside the pub. Sometimes during the colder months it's not very warm inside the pub and I usually have to sit there in my coat, which isn't the most comfortable. Overall though, a great bar and I highly recommend a visit.
